Finding a name that I wanted to represent my work was difficult. I prayed about it and waited for something to click. Let's go back just a little bit. When I was in 5th grade my sister passed away from leukemia. Her name was Chanissa Leigh. I took her middle name and made it the first word for my studio. Then the word hill came to mind.. wow I have faced many hills and obstacles in life and some I have overcome. Put the two words together and you get Leigh Hill studios.

The photo above is one that I hold dear to my heart. It is one of the last pictures that I have of us together. My goal as a photographer is to capture the special moments so that you have them to look back on in the future when the memories you have become faint.

Invest in capturing the memories. Whether it is you getting engaged, getting married, a maternity session awaiting your precious baby, welcoming your newborn into the world, or a family coming together with smiles and laughs. Reliving those moments while looking at the images are priceless.

Leigh Hill Studios is located in Somerset Ky. The studio also offers destination photography, because I love to travel and capture those moments away from home.
